...but i think that there is something a little strange with the perspective of the tail =x

Looks awesome (as always), but there's something about the perspective of the tail. It is wraping from the back to the front, but the segmented pieces are not curving and showing this. It's like painted it to be positioned in the back, but just brought it forward. Hope I am making sense.

This is a GORGEOUS piece... The only issues I have are with the legs. Right now, you've got his til infront of his legs, but with teh way you rendered it, it looks like the tail should be behind them. I almost feel like his tail is going to trip him.... Also, the ankle you drew the legs at gives hte impression that he should be standing in profile to us rather than face to face. Almost like he's broken his legs at the...erm...knees (for lack of a better word *lol*) The musculature of the left side leg near the hip is also placed a littel funny...it makes it look like he's bending that part of this body.

I hope I made sense...O_o

Aside from that, the image is fantastically rendered and you've managed to make the figure stand out even though the tonality of the piece stays rather chromatic. I also love the symetry of the face and wings being offset by the opposing arm positions. I'm also loving the way you managed to suggest flames and heat without actually putting in some flames. It, once again, allows us to focus on the figure...
