"Grendel, I come for you!" Beowulf is one of my favorite Anglo-Saxon heroes, battling monsters such as Grendel and the dragon.

Beowulf, greatest of norse/germanic heroes next to Sigurd the Volsung. Glad to finally see someone depict him with black hair, seems like everyone screws that detail up that he was the only man among his crew with black hair
