A cecaelia is... isss... well did u see the little mermaid? lol, cecaelia is a half octopus woman, similar to the traditional mermaids but more evil, a kind of siren.

well the one in the lil mermaid, though 'fugly' as many people are labeling it, seems pretty accurate to octopus in general to me. They are chunky squishy lookin' sea critters, all wobbly and bubble headed an what not xD

this is still a good depiction, don't get me wrong, but I don't think of octo-maids (w/e they're officially called) as being gorgeous women, I think secluded less attractive. Which would explain why the octopus was the creature used in the various translations of the stories as to being the 'sea witch' cause of that seclusion lol

but that's splitting hairs haha

it's wonderful work and the coloring and line work are great :)
