Wow! That's beutiful! I've always loved Joan D'Arc, she's my favorite female warrior! This is just incredible! You're a good inspiration for me, a young artist who loves historical happenings and anime! I have alot to learn, but this inspires me more than anything! Danke~!
Beautiful to say the least! I have always liked Joan of Arc; she is a fine precursor to TV's Xena: Warrior Princess. I once did a book report on her and even had a little timeline of her life that I designed. Joan of Arc is one of my favorite French people next to science-fiction novelist Jules Verne, master of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea!
Ah...I was so very excited when I saw the thumbnail of this, thinking it was a fabulous homage to one of the most inspirational women in history...and then I saw the bare legs and the boob-armor. But I shan't rant about it.
Still, very well drawn! The battlements look amazing.
Joan of Arc wouldn't have worn a breastplate with boobs fashined into it. First off, because it would be totally impractical and second, because she was trying to pass for a man. The art's great, but to give Joan of Arc armor with boobs is like giving Mother Teresa cleavage.
