Merumya is a succubus out of Razgaroth`s breed. The succubi are a race of half-demons used by the higher demon lords as foot soldiers in the great war. Due to their demonic origin, they are able to use magic in a different way than humans do. Humans need to channel their magic into spells and summons to create an effect – succubi do not. After a varying amount of training, they are able to create fire and acid blasts in an instant, what makes them fearsome opponents. Another side effect of their demonic origin is, that they absorb the magical energy of an enemy soul they have slain in close combat. This allows them to enhance their magical potential for a short amount of time, before the soul is drawn to their demon lord to feed him.

Merumya was raised in the caves of the demonic plane as part of a group of succubi, trained to fight in the great war. After a few combat missions she is one of the survivors of the original group which proves her worth to her demon lord. He allows her to keep some of the souls she captured which increases her potential even more. She also got promoted to squad leader, which gives her an opportunity to rise in the ranks of the succubi.

She is of a very cheeky nature and tends to exaggerate some of the earlier fights she won – which is no easy task – and mocks her comrades whenever possible. Yet she has a very caring personality. She will always stand up for any of her comrades and never lose her optimism, which makes her a good squad leader.
