I read about him: Miyamoto Musashi was a sword master and the most famous samurai in all of history. I have a book about him called "The Lone Samurai".

Got a problem with his right hand… Isn't there a problem with how he hands his sword ?
But the pic is great =) His eyes, peculiarly.

Ignore them, there are approximately 20 stances in Niten Ichi Ryu. The most impressive part to me is that you managed to show off his size, which not very many people are aware of. Musashi was thought to be about 6 foot 2 inches, which is extremely tall in Japan, especially back then. His quick understanding of the martial arts, and greater reach then the average samurai is likely what made him such a legend.

Musashi's such a pimp.. would be great if you did his Arch-Rival, Sasaki Kojiro, but judging from your streams you're clearly very busy so not anytime soon, neh?

Musashi Miyamoto, rival to the No Daichi wielding Sasaki Kojiro whom he defeated with a broken oar

I think he was also the leader of the seven samurai, but am not sure

The first biological weapon in history, some sources claim he didn't really cared about hygienics, didn't bath and didn't care about his hairs (though this may have been spawn by the envy of people he defeated :))

Oh, yes, and great job on the swords themselves. I often have trouble drawing a good katana, myself.

Whoa. This is amazing! It looks almost like a movie poster. Really good texture and color- plus, great job on his pose. Of course, I believe that, as has been said, Musashi's double-sword style usually involved the katana and wakizashi, rather than two katanas, but I'm sure he'd gladly use two katanas if deemed necessary.

Fantastic Job, my friend!

Very good, but one mistake - Musashi historically used daisho, katana+wakizachi, not two katanas.

ever thought of drawing both musashi and kojiro? sure it was a short battle(killed him with a bokken carved from an oar) but it would be really nice to see that.

Ahh, I really love the story behind him. Read the book twice and it's huge.

due to that fact I'm actually rather certan that he fought with long - and short sword, not with two evenly matched blades.

sorry for the little critic and feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

on the other hand: Great pic, like all the others you drew, I'm becoming quite a fan of your art.
