I love your art work and ideas al so very much but just to let you know there is a very good and popular anime series by the name of Gun \XSword.
The main Character is also Van, i forgot the girls name too.
Yes there is youn, innocent female companion./ and it also has a somewhat western theme, along with Mecha robots. The story line is great. yuo should buy it someitme, maybe that anime will also influence you.
Its a mini series of 2 5 chapters i think, its in HD and the drawings and animation flow is incredible. Wat a coincidence!!!!!!
