COMMISSION WORK & MISC QUESTIONS
Q: Do you do requests or trades?:
-Sadly I not take request or trades, 'cos a matter of time
Q: Do you take Commissions?:
-yes I do, please send me a note to send you my full price list. and we will agree the next step
- Not at this moment. Sadly paypal is very dificult to change here on Chile, so maybe we can use Western union or Moneygram
Is easy, you can do it online or in the agency.
Q: I want you to draw my character/s as a commission, what do you need to start?
-Send me a very direct description of the character and image divided in this way:
Character: Gender, Age, hair and eye color, physical complexion, kind of personality and description for cloth too or references.
Background: Short Description of the place, Weather/ambient and references if is needed.
Q: What do you draw and what you don´t?
-Depends of what you have in mind, but I avoid yaoi or hardcore stuff
Q: What I will get for the Commission?
-A full image in high res, 300 dpi. You can print it on the size you want (even bigger as 2 to 3 mts/10 feet) plus you will have the previous steps as sketches or lineart if you ask for it and the rights to use the image of course.
Q: I have some doubts about the final image, can you do some corrections/edits?
-yes, I offer you 3 edits over the final image. so try to have a clear image before start the color. After the 3 edits I will ask for an extra payment.
Q: Can you teach me how to draw? my apologies, it's too long to explain but you can check a couple of tutorials I have in my gallery and check my livestream or ask me specific questions
-Tip to draw: first learn how to draw and paint by hand (olis, inks etc) and the pass to digital, is always easier to dominate the system and then change format. Another tip: skecthes everyday, its like kung fu, more your train, your body learns how to move and the information remains in your head. see how your favorite artists create solutions for graphic problems and learn from it, draw people of the street, etc, until your hand gets used to draw and then pass to lineart, color. (many many sketches do develop a own style too).
Q: Do you do payed classes?:
- no I don't, but you can see the process when I so streams, and it's for free
sometimes late at night, I advice to my watchers at my journal.
Q: Can I use your artwork for my commercial project?
-all the images I upload in my gallery are for commissions and company works, so I can't allow the use 'cos a copyright thing.
Q: Can I use an image for my signature, tattoo, blog, avatar, training/sketch, custom cards, etc?
-Sure, you can use it!
for non commercial use is Ok. just drop me a link and put the credits
Q: Can you send me a high res of your images?
-I can't due the copyright issue.
Q: What should I study to work on this?
Most of the people I know are self taught, maybe you want study something related as designer or arts, but in my experience nobody ask you what did you studied in this media, your portfolio is the important thing, in the same way of the play is an athlete, to offer many options for clients, and to like what you do makes you try to improve on it.
